From the "pilgrim" connoisseur and lunch cube sculptor...... no tape involved here - very tricky.
Happy New Year!!!

- Danelle

The Lunch Cube is excellent! I am extremely impressed with your...everything! Ordering online was very simple and quick. The fact that I could do it the same day I needed it was even better. Your menu was simple yet offered a variety of flavors and combo options. The presentation was great...from the box lunch to the sustainable bicycle delivery! My clients enjoyed their meal. I appreciated the ease, affordability, presentation and quality. Overall you made a fabulous first impression!

- Gisela

This is my new go-to destination when meeting friends or coworkers for lunch downtown.  There just isn't enough buzz yet about this place, so I'd like to help get it going.

Although a bit pricier than one would expect, the sandwiches are some of the best I've had downtown. The panini bread is thick but still extremely light on the inside. The amount of meat is just about right, and the extras complement the rest of the sandwich well. I've been here twice now and had the Ham and Brie and The Chairman (grilled pastrami, provolone, smoked tomato aioli, jalapeno relish). Overall, two perfectly balanced, light but flavorful gourmet sandwiches.

- Jeff A.

"This is the second lunch I’ve ordered from you, and it was absolutely delicious. I had the Executive sandwich and a pickle. I’m a happy customer, and will order again from you even if you don’t change anything. The convenience of having a lunch delivered to me is a great option."

- Brian

I am most pleased to experience this delightful sandwich. I am in love with your BLT panini with roasted pepper mayo, it's lovely.

I was in Minneapolis for work and had an hour for lunch between meetings. Found this little gem of a place from Yelp, and walked over from my hotel.

It's a tiny, hole-in-the-wall type place, and it seems like you have to know about it in order to go there; not much outside foot traffic. I was immediately intrigued by the menu and the creative combinations of traditional ingredients. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have any soups but chili, and I finally decided on the Black and Blue Panini, (Roast Beef, Bleu Cheese, and Grilled Onion with a Red Wine Aioli). I was out of there in minutes and carrying my lunch cube back to my hotel. Definitely a tiny place that you'd either want delivery from, or takeout.

My sandwich was still hot when I got back. Hot, generously cut, thick layers of juicy roast beef in thick, perfectly grilled bread. I forgot about everything else in the world. The cookie was just okay, but damn, that was a fantastic sandwich. I would definitely be back if I ever find myself in Minneapolis again.

I saved half for later, and ended up eating it after going out with my co-workers that night. I wouldn't recommend leaving a sandwich out all day, but I didn't hesitate, it was just as amazing as before, and that really shows you how good it is. A must-try if you're in the area!

A buddy and I walked a couple blocks from work to a great sandwich shop by work. It was a perfect day as we entered the obviously, highly into catering sandwich shop. My friend said the owner was a chef from one of the great restaurants downtown.

They were busy packing lunches for clients and we were the only in house customers. I surveyed the large board above the cash registers and there were delectable concoctions everywhere.

My buddy recommended The Chairman Panini which had pastrami, provolone and a jalapeno relish. I ordered one and a Diet Coke and it was about 10 bucks, a little steep for a sandwich and soda from a small shop compared to Jimmy John's or Subway, but it turns out you pay for quality. A couple more bucks was definitely worth it.

They were out of pastrami, but the chef recommended a honey brisket they had in stock...Great choice.

They actually cooked the meat in a small saucepan, which was really cool compared to other places I have been where they just put the panini in a waffle maker like toaster and melt everything together.

We decided to sit outside and after about 10 minutes our order was ready. The wait was no problem since it was a perfect day outside and we just discussed life.

We were notified our sandwich was ready and I noticed there was the perfect amount of shaved meet with a golden brown wheat bread that had the perfect amount of "Crunch" as I bit down into the heavenly delight. The relish was tangy yet a little spice to it. Awesome little chunks of pickle in the relish melted in my mouth.

The meat was savory and perfect, with just the right amount of cheese to mellow everything out. The Diet Coke cleansed my palette for every new bite which was outstanding every time.

The extra couple of bucks was well worth the wait and price. Hopefully this new joint will get a nice following even though it is on the outskirts of downtown.

A co-worker and I used a Groupon at Lunch Cube and had a very tasty lunch. They offer a fairly healthy menu and a variety of sandwich choices. I would highly recommend the lunch combo 'cubes' and the chicken ceasar flatbread wrap.
Bonus: Free delivery

Top 5 sandwich of my life is The Chairman. The flavors blend wonderfully and the gm working was very friendly and gave me a free cookie.

I'm from cincinnati so unfortunately I won't have it again for a while. A must eat in minneapolis.

The most delicious sandwich and salad I ever had!

- Lori G.

LOVE LOVE LOVED it!
I had the pleasure of trying the pesto club. This is not your average turkey sandwich; the pesto absolutely made this sandwich one of a kind!

My friend had the ham and brie- it was love at first bite! She said it was wonderful! It was so easy and convenient, I didn’t even have to leave my desk or pick up the phone! I ordered online and they brought it right to me!

The sandwiches were HUGE! It’s very rare in this area you get a BIG sandwich at such a small price. The chili was a perfect warm up for these cold days! The food left us feeling “full” not “fat”!

The lunch cube is our new favorite!

- Amy R.

Thank you so much for the free lunch samples you provided the other day. It caused quite a buzz around the office, and people had fun testing them out and letting me know what they think. I was lucky enough to give a lunch to the head of our company and he raved about the tomato soup. In fact, everyone that had the tomato soup loved it. Here are some other reviews:

Yes, that was delicious. I'd like a free lunch just like it every day please. Seriously, very yummy The pasta salad is awesome I tried half of the ‘exec’ sandwich, it was very good. I am a big fan of the bread, Texas Toast like bread. Yummy!

I tried out the tuna sandwich from this place. It was tasty enough that I'd definitely like to see what else they have on their menu... Thumbs up from me.

I'm sure we will be ordering lunch delivery from you soon. I do have your website address, but if you had a printed menu I would like that too. It is easy to hand that to someone and have them pick what they want. Thank you!

But Lunch Cube somehow delivers up some amazing deli style food at a deli price, even though it tastes like it belongs to a much better restaurant!

I was very impressed with the pasta salad that they make in house, as well as the sandwich that I ordered! Well, I was a bit skeptical, especially once I saw the pricing. I had to drop off Packages at Bullseye today, parked and ordered the Ham n’ Brie Panini/Mushroom Soup/Cookie Box- To go. Essentially $15 with tip.  Honestly, having looked back on the experience….Worth every damn penny

Here’s the rundown-
The Sandwich- Perfectly Grilled with the right combination of meat/cheese/dressing.  Just a hint of sweetness in the bread- a perfect intermingling of flavor.

The Soup- Fresh mushrooms, great spices and a truly smooth base.  I have never eaten a better Cream of Mushroom soup.  Period.  That seems rather odd to state, but going through my brain’s rolodex of soups, I’m not coming up with a better experience.  How can this happen when the product was dispensed into a Styrofoam bowl?

The Cookie- It’s odd really- the cookie, from a strictly aesthetic and mouth-feel standpoint was perfect.  Crisp caramelization of the dough on the outer 1”-1.5” of the rim, followed by fantastically soft center and just the right amount of chocolate chips.  How is this possible on a product given to me wrapped in Sysco Saran Wrap?

So, basically, Home Run.

Great job Guys.

FYI- I ate everything as I was driving West on 394.  I was done by the time I hit Ridgedale.)

- Jim

I went back today.  Again.  I got The Chairman.  I said the words (out loud), "Holy sh*t, that's good!"

That pretty much sums it up.  Oh and the chili was good, too.

This place is awesome.  After just one sandwich (the Jazz, a bbq sandwich with toasted cumin aioli), I plan on going back to taste every other sandwich.  It really was fantastic.  It can be more expensive than many other places in the skyway, but it is worth it for a tasty lunch once in a while.

Hi! I just want to say I had my first experience ordering from Lunch Cube and I am totally satisfied! I ordered “The Executive” sandwich and it was delivered super fast and the sandwich was extremely good. And I especially like the cute white and red cube it comes in. Lots of value for my money and I WILL be ordering from your company again very soon! 2 thumbs up!

- Ebony

This was my first visit, at an invitation from @Joshua B below - I had "The Chairman" - a sandwich with a mix of grilled pastrami, cheese and a tangy jalapeno sauce. The sauce wasn't hot at all, just added a bit of zip.  Overall the sandwich was perfect - the bread was slightly sweet and played off the salty pastrami and the jalapenos perfectly.  The bread was super fresh and thick cut - overall it was a delicious sandwich. I can't wait to try another one.

I also had a cup of the chicken-wild rice (hey, it's Minnesota, what can I say? :) soup and I thought it was delicious.  It was creamy, but not cloyingly so with a lot of tender chunks of white meat chicken and tons of wild rice.

I will be going back - it's maybe $4 more than Potbelly but the quality is infinitely higher.  Well worth the money.
